SWEDFAN supplies installation accessories for flexible ventilation ducting used in tunneling, mining and underground construction projects.
Our tunnel duct suspension system includes M8 and M16 expansion anchor assemblies designed for overhead suspension of 6 mm steel wire, supporting the installation of flexible ventilation ducts in underground environments.
The system uses larger M16 anchors for main wire suspension and smaller M8 anchors at intermediate positions along the wire, providing a practical arrangement for tunnel ventilation duct installation.
M8 & M16 EXPANSION ANCHORS FOR TUNNEL DUCT SUSPENSION
SWEDFAN offers tunnel suspension component packages in M8 and M16, consisting of a galvanized DIN 582 lifting eye, a galvanized DIN 976 threaded rod and a choice of drop-in anchor.
The M16 assembly is intended for main suspension points, while the M8 assembly is used for intermediate suspension along the steel wire.
Both packages are designed for overhead suspension applications in tunnel environments. Anchor selection, installation and permissible loads must be verified according to the actual rock conditions and project requirements.
